How much do pet transport services cost?+
Ground pet transport across the continental United States starts at a $450 minimum and is priced on real driving distance, the number of pets and their size. Airline cargo to Hawaii, Germany or the United Kingdom is priced from live carrier rates for your travel dates and usually also includes a ground leg to the departure gateway, crate, vet paperwork handling and airline fees. You get a written price after the 30-second quote form.
How do I choose the right pet transport service?+
Ask four questions: who physically drives or tenders your pet, what the price actually includes, what happens if a flight or a delivery window slips, and whether you can reach a real person on the day of the move. Ask for USDA registration, insurance and references, and be cautious with any company that will not put the price and the route in writing.
Is ground transport or flying better for my pet?+
Anywhere in the continental U.S. we move pets by road, including coast to coast. Road travel avoids airline heat embargoes, breed restrictions and cargo-hold stress, and your pet stays with the same handler the whole way. Hawaii, Germany and the United Kingdom can only be reached by airline cargo, so those moves fly.
How does summer heat affect pet transport?+
Airlines refuse live animals when ground temperatures on the route go above roughly 85°F or below roughly 20°F, which shuts down a lot of cargo space in a Kansas summer. Our vans are climate controlled and run early morning and overnight in hot weather, with water and walk breaks on a set schedule.
Do you transport snub-nosed breeds like bulldogs and pugs?+
By road, yes, with extra cooling and rest stops. By air, most carriers restrict or refuse brachycephalic breeds, so if your route has to fly we will tell you before you pay anything rather than after.
What do breeders and rescues need from a pet transport service?+
Health certificates dated inside the travel window, age-appropriate crates, proof of vaccination, and a driver who can handle multiple animals and hand them over to the right person. We run puppy and litter transport regularly and can deliver to several addresses on one route.
Can you transport senior pets or pets that need medication?+
Yes. Send the feeding schedule and medication instructions with the booking and the driver logs every dose and meal. Senior and anxious pets get shorter driving blocks and more breaks. We do not sedate animals — most vets and every airline advise against it for travel.
What about emergency or urgent pet transport?+
Call us. Same-day and next-day pickups are often possible in the Wichita metro and we can usually start a long-distance run within 48 hours. Medical transport is limited to stable animals — we are not a veterinary ambulance.
How far in advance should I book?+
Continental ground moves: two to four weeks. Hawaii: plan around the 30-day and 120-day rabies rules. Germany and the United Kingdom: eight to ten weeks, because USDA endorsement and destination paperwork take time.
What paperwork does my pet need?+
Domestic ground moves need a current rabies certificate and, for most state lines, a health certificate issued by your vet within 10 days of travel. International moves add a microchip, destination-specific vaccinations and treatments, an import form and USDA endorsement — we tell you exactly what your route needs and track every deadline with you.
Will I know where my pet is?+
Yes. You get pickup and delivery windows, photo updates from the road or the airport, and a tracking link for your move.
What deposit do you take and when do I pay the rest?+
A deposit locks your date and is credited to the total; the balance is due before travel. Payment plans are available. Nothing is charged until you have seen the written price and accepted it.
