The transport process
We confirm microchip and rabies records, book cargo space on a carrier that accepts your breed and crate, prepare the EU health certificate for your vet to sign, get it endorsed by USDA, drive your pet to the gateway airport, and coordinate collection at the German airport.
What we need to quote you
Your U.S. city and state, the German city or installation, travel date, and each pet's species, breed, age and weight. Crate measurements sharpen the price because cargo rates are charged on crate volume.
Planning information
The microchip must be implanted before the rabies shot or the vaccination does not count. The health certificate is only valid for ten days, so the vet visit, the USDA endorsement and the flight all have to line up. Snub-nosed breeds have restricted carrier options and summer embargoes.

What documents may be needed for Germany?+
An ISO-compliant microchip implanted before the rabies shot, a current rabies vaccination, an EU health certificate issued within ten days of travel, and a USDA endorsement of that certificate. The rabies vaccination must be at least 21 days old on the travel date.
How far in advance should I request a quote?+
Sixty to ninety days. The 21-day rabies wait plus the USDA endorsement appointment is what drives the schedule for pet shipping to Germany.
Is the move by air or ground?+
Germany is airline cargo. We drive your pet to the nearest U.S. cargo gateway and tender them to the carrier, usually routing into Frankfurt.
Can my pet fly in the cabin instead?+
Most military PCS pets travel as cargo because of size and route, and cargo is what we quote. If a cabin booking is genuinely better for your pet, your coordinator will say so.
