Hawaii is the strictest pet destination in the country. Get the 5 Day Or Less program right and your pet clears at Honolulu the same day — get it wrong and it is 120 days of quarantine.
Crate size drives the price more than your pet's weight does. Interior length must be nose-to-tail plus half a front-leg length, and your pet must stand fully upright.

Most mainland-to-Honolulu moves run $1,900 to $5,400 depending on crate size, including the crate and freight. The state's $185 direct-release inspection fee and the rabies titer lab fee are added at cost.

Five months before your report date. The rabies titer alone carries a mandatory 30-day wait after the lab receives the sample, and titer results take weeks to return.
Only small pets on carriers that permit it, and they still must complete the full 5 Day Or Less program and be inspected at the Animal Quarantine Station. Most PCS pets travel as checked live cargo.
